This blog has been seriously lacking, but mostly because I'm still impartial to the idea of blogging. it's an amazing medium but what exactly do I want to share? I often wish I could write more and get back into the art of good discussion and story-telling, so I will stop procrastinating and actually give this a shot.
so i'm off to europe in less than a month. and not to downgrade how excited i am about it, but i know that many have gone before me, and many will continue to go and experience the great continent. To me, the lure is more the personal journey and discovery rather than the prestige of being a seasoned traveller. like other curious minds, the idea of how much is out there to discover is exciting and the chance to live a day in someone else's city is amazing.
I have read blogs from friends travelling the world and other blogs from doctors or engineers doing aid work in africa and i always enjoy how honestly they present their experiences. not just about travelling but about life and helpful knowledge. i really think that sharing these opinions, ideas, information is how we all learn and grow. so kudos to the people who speak their mind and educate others. as for me, who knows what direction this blog will take, but i hope anyone who is reading it will enjoy the read.
